New Obama Slogan: They’ve Added An Exclamation Mark

Nashua, N.H. – The new Obama slogan isn’t exactly what you’d call heavily revamped from the old Obama slogan.

Previously, supporters of the president could wave banners and placards declaring, ‘Forward‘ (see above). Now, with under ten days to go until election day, the signs read, ‘Forward!’

That exclamation mark was added by the president’s campaign team earlier this week, and is presumably designed to whip up Obama supporters into a voting frenzy.

NWS Meteorologist: Call and yell at me Friday if it ends up not being bad...

Hurricane Sandy is a HUGE storm, with a diameter of over 700 miles wide and a tropical storm wind field over 400 miles wide, meaning that it will impact a very large number of people for an extended period of time.

Unlike many storms that move up the coast and are in and out quickly, Sandy will be arriving almost perpendicular to the New Jersey coastline, and then weakening, but dawdling as it moves inland. That means even in Philadelphia and the suburbs, tropical storm force winds could last over 48 hours!

We still have the same expectations of Sandy’s impact:

Ukraine election 'reversed democracy', OSCE says...Perfect sounds like they are ready to join the EU

The statement from the regional security body OSCE came as early results pointed to a win for President Viktor Yanukovych's Party of Regions.

"One should not have to visit a prison to hear from leading political figures," the OSCE said.

A major opposition leader, Yulia Tymoshenko, remains in jail.
