A magnitude 7.9 earthquake has struck OFF THE COAST OF COSTA RICA at a depth of 20 km (12.4 miles), the quake hit at 14:42:09 UTC Wednesday 5th September 2012
The epicenter was 80 km (50 miles) South from Liberia, Costa Rica
