Pilot and passenger killed in light aircraft crash on border of England and Wales

Two men have been killed in a light aircraft crash on England’s border with Wales.

Police have confirmed their plane came down near the village of Churton, south of Chester, last night.
The two victims of the crash have not yet been named.

'Sadly the two men on board the aircraft, one from North Wales and a second man from Surrey, sustained fatal injuries,' a Cheshire Police spokeswoman said today.

'Their next of kin have been informed but formal identification has not yet taken place.' Read More
