Rail commuter chaos after two trains crash into landslide

The severe heavy rain which has drenched the country all summer caused more disruption yesterday after two trains smashed into landslides - causing one to come off the tracks.

The Fife Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene near the Pitreavie industrial estate in Dunfermline, securing the train.

There were no injuries as a result of the derailment and the passengers remained onboard until a replacement service arrived. Read More
