Lance Rudge Jailed for KILLING disabled man says he doesn't want to leave because he Has it too Good behind Bars

A jailed murderer who killed a disabled man says he is enjoying prison life –because he is given all his food, has a TV and doesn’t need to get a job.

Lance Rudge, 24, won’t be released until at least 2025 after murdering Gregory Baker, 61.

But in a documentary he says he ‘has it nice’ behind bars.

Appearing in his cell wearing a baseball cap and a football shirt, Rudge tells viewers: ‘In here you’ve got everything. You’ve got a stereo, a TV. You’ve got your food, three meals a day. I’ve got it nice. I don’t want it to change.’

When asked what he thinks life is like outside, he says: ‘Horrible, a nightmare to get a job. I wouldn’t like to be out there at all now. I’d prefer to stay inside for a while, and wait until it calms down.’

Rudge, from Stoke-on-Trent, was convicted of murder along with his mother Yvonne Purchase and friend Shane Edge four years ago. Purchase planned the 2007 killing in order to collect the £60,000 disabled Mr Baker had left her in his will. Read More
