Gloria McMillan arrested on Monday in the road rage incident last week that left 21-year-old Shelinda Arrington lying dead on the road.

A driver has been arrested after a hit-and-run road rage incident left a 21-year-old woman dead.

Gloria Alfreda McMillan, 32, of Fairfax County, Virginia was arrested on Monday, three days after the lifeless body of Shelinda Dolores Arrington was found lying in the road.

Ms Arrington allegedly first cut off McMillan's SUV on a residential street and got out of her car to confront her.

She then leapt onto the bonnet of McMillan's car before being thrown off and run over.

McMillan was charged with felony hit-and-run after police said she left the scene following the road rage incident on Friday.

Police had been looking for a dark-colored SUV with temporary tags, which police found in southwest Washington, DC. Read More
