747 'jumbo' jet clips tail of Commuter Plane on the runway and flips it TEN feet to the right

There was a narrow escape for the 21 people on board an American Eagle regional jet after a Boeing 747 clipped its tail as the larger plane was taxiing for take-off at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.

Both planes were on the ground and no injuries were reported after the incident which occurred at 1 p.m local time at O'Hare, which is the second busiest airport in the U.S after Atlanta, catering to 67 million passengers a year.

The Vietnamese owned EVA cargo plane was preparing for a flight to Alaska when it came into contact with American Eagle Flight 4265 which had landed from Springfield, Missouri and was preparing to dock at the airport's gate. Read More
