Police probe Ukraine bomb blasts

There is still a heavy police presence on the streets of the eastern Ukrainian city of Dnipropetrovsk after four explosions on Friday. The bombings are being treated as acts of terrorism. Authorities are still unclear who was responsible and no group or individual has come forward.

Twenty-seven people were injured when the blasts went off. The first and most damaging happened at a tram-stop, and the other three exploded near a cinema, not far from a train station and in the downtown area.
“I think it will be very scary to go back to where it all happened, to remember everything. It’ll also be scary to catch a bus. Any kind of loud sound and I get really frightened,” said one victim.

Local authorities in Dnipropetrovsk are offering a substantial reward to anyone who provides investigators with valuable information. Read More
