Hague stokes the Euro crisis as he brands it 'a burning building with no exits' - 28th Sept 2011

William Hague has waded in to the Euro crisis by saying that it is like 'a burning building with no exits'.

The British Foreign Secretary went on to say that those countries in the most trouble are likely to 'accept some very big changes' in order to right their dire situation.

The 50-year-old Conservative also mocked Germany for offering to take the brunt of the financial burden, in order to save the currency and warned they would be picking up the tab 'for the rest if their lifetimes'.

In an interview with the Spectator due out tomorrow Hague said: 'I described the Euro as a burning building with no exits and so it has proved for some of the countries in it. But there are no exits.
