California Wildfire: 3,000 People Evacuated

Nearly 3,000 people are under evacuation orders after wind spread a wildfire across 41 square miles to threaten two Californian communities.

Firefighters were struggling to push back the blaze which has destroyed six homes, damaged 15 and destroyed 5,600 acres of woodland.

The erratic winds spread the flames in the Angeles National Forest to the doorstep of homes in Lake Hughes and Lake Elizabeth, around 50 miles north of Los Angeles.
