It has been suggested the explosion could have been caused by someone at the home trying to install a set of radiators.
On Sunday night firefighters were searching through the rubble of the house ‘brick by brick’ to find the two bodies.
Leslie Rourke, 71, and his daughter-in-law Jeanette, 40, were killed in the blast.
Mr Rourke’s body was found buried between the ground floor and basement of the house in Wright Street in Newark, Nottinghamshire. Mrs Rourke’s body was found in the early hours of Monday.
