Ireland: Up to 80000 bus passengers face disruption due to strike

Bus √Čireann has said that it expects the majority of its school bus services will operate normally today, despite a strike National Bus and Rail Union (NBRU).

A spokesman for the company said this morning that only a handful of its regular services are running he expected school bus services to be largely unaffected.

However, the company added that about 2,000 children with school transport tickets who travel on its regular services could be affected if these are hit by the strike.
