Colombian department Alarm H1N1 virus outbreak

Colombian health authorities remain on alert today after an outbreak of the H1N1 influenza virus that has killed two people in the past few hours, six in critical condition and another 54 infected in the southern department of Huila.

The Public Ministry investigates whether the delay in the analysis of samples in the Huila Department of Health and the National Institute of Health contributed to the progress of this disease in other parts of the country, reported newspaper El Tiempo.

We posted several articles in the past few days of a mystery illness in America, killing at least 2 people and leaving several in Hospital, this was also announced as the common flu this morning.

And now we see reports of the common flu killing within hrs in Colombia. Over the past several weeks there have been unexplained deaths with flu like symptoms in Germany, UK, France, these articles have Vanished without explanation or follow up to what actually caused these symptoms or deaths

Surely the dress code is not the norm for treating common flu these days?
