Abu Nusaybah Arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences.......after telling BBC in an Interview that Michael Adebolajo was approached by MI5 to work for them

A man who claimed to be a childhood friend of Woolwich murder suspect Michael Adebolajo told the BBC he had been approached by MI5 six months ago and asked if he would work for the security service.

Abu Nusaybah told the Newsnight programme that Adebolajo had rejected the approach, but said he knew certain individuals MI5 was interested in.

Following the interview, a 31-year-old man was arrested at BBC premises in London on suspicion of terrorism offences, Scotland Yard said.

The BBC said it was Nusbaybah, although Scotland Yard refused to confirm this.
