Keith Petit arrested after he 'boarded school bus with gun and threatened students' within HOURS of Sandy Hook massacre

A gunman boarded a school bus and allegedly began threatening to shoot the students just hours after the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, it emerged today.

Arrest records show the incident in New Orleans, Louisiana, took place on Friday afternoon, the same day as the shooting 1,200 miles away in Newtown, Connecticut.

However, details have only just been made public, reported.

The bus was carrying students from KIPP's McDonough 15 Middle School when 29-year-old Keith Petit got on board, the papers said.
