Dale Cregan Arrested: Police Shot During Murder Suspect Arrest

Two police officers have been shot in Manchester during the arrest of a wanted man, according to Sky sources.

Dale Cregan, 29, was being sought in connection with separate gun and grenade attacks that killed a father and son.

The officers were injured after Cregan was arrested in Tameside, Greater Manchester.

The seriousness of the officers' injuries has not been given by Greater Manchester Police.

A brief statement released by Greater Manchester Police said: "Two police officers have been injured during an incident in Tameside. Dale Cregan has also been arrested. There are no further details at this time." Read More
