MORE great white sharks spotted off Cape Cod as beachgoers dip more hesitantly in the water

More great white sharks have been spotted off a popular Massachusetts shore days just days after bathers were warned to stay out of the water due to the increased sightings.

Photographed off Monomoy Island and South Beach in Chatham, Tuesday's sightings were approximately 16ft in length while seen skimming along the surface, one chasing the area's seals.

'About 30ft off the beach which is only in about three or four feet of water which is very shallow for a 12 to 15ft white shark to be in,' Niko Chaprales of Cape Cod Shark Hunters who published the photographs told WHDH. Read More
