Jason Lindahl found dead in Hudson River in suspected suicide - Curse of Spider-Man the musical strikes again

A Broadway technician working on the hit musical Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark has been found dead in the Hudson River.

Jason Lindahl, 27, was last seen in his apartment in Astoria, Queens, before he vanished on Sunday morning. He was reported missing the following day.

His lifeless, fully-clothed body was found floating in the Hudson River, just north of the George Washington Bridge near W. 179th St. in Manhattan at around 9:40 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the New York Daily News.

Although a medical examiner has yet to determine his cause of death, police sources told the newspaper that Lindahl left a handwritten suicide note at his home.

He allegedly also sent emails to his friends where he expressed suicidal thoughts in the days before his disappearance.

But Lindahl’s death is not the first tragedy to hit the Broadway musical. 'Turn of the Dark' has been plagued by problems since its 2010 debut. Read More
