Brandy Stevens-Rosine 'tortured to death and buried in shallow grave' as killers could face death sentence over lesbian love triangle murder

Two young women have been charged with murder over the death of a popular student caught in a love triangle with her alleged killers.

20-year-old Brandy Stevens-Rosine was tortured then bludgeoned to death and drowned before being buried in a shallow grave in the woods of Pennsylvania.

Her ex-girlfriend Nichole 'Jade' Olmstead will face trial alongside her current lover Ashley Marie Barber - and prosecutors say they may seek the death sentence over the horrific killing.

Miss Stevens-Rosine studied sociology at Youngstown State University near her hometown in Beaver Township, Ohio, according to the Huffington Post.

Her friend Krysti Horvat described her as 'like the little sister that everyone would want to have', and said her tragic death was 'unfathomable'.

The student was apparently still devoted to her ex-girlfriend Olmstead, 18, and had shown herself willing to run errands for her. Read More
