Two Canadian sisters have been found dead in their hotel room in Thailand.Thai police suspect Audrey and Noemi Belanger, aged 20 and 26 from near Quebec, may have been poisoned.
The sisters' bodies were discovered by maids at the Phi Phi Palm Residence Hotel on the popular tourist resort island of Phi Phi on Friday.
Officials said the sisters were covered in vomit, had skin lesions and had been bleeding from the gums, according to the Phuket Gazette. They also said both women's fingernails and toenails were blue.
Lt. Col. Rat Somboon of Krabi Provincial Police guessed the women had been dead for between 12 and 20 hours when their bodies were discovered.
The sisters' bodies will undergo autopsies shortly to confirm how they died. Read More

Pesticides? People have recently been found dead in hotels in Thailand and other Asian countries after their rooms were treated with pesticides to kill insects.
I stayed at the same island just after the last deaths, i beleive it was two girls from norway, and let me be the one to say that this story is eerily similar, and the chain of events that are said to take place are sketchy at best, when i was there maids come around 10 am at night they are nowhere to be seen at all so why would a maid happen to enter the room at or around 9 pm? there is a hospital on the island and the report says the hotel notified the athorities around that time so im assuming that is about the time they were descovered unless of course the staff waited, but then again why would they wait? i think there are two things that could have happened, these girls got some spoiled dope from the mainland and posined themselves or someone is purpously posining them to make it look like something its not, there are most deffenitly shady people living on this island i have seen this with my own eyes, I got severe food posining when i was there but i managed to get to the hospital for antibiotics, IF IT IS NOT ONE OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED SENARIOS I WILL BE VERY SURPRISED BUT THEN AGAIN THE POLICE FORCE IS SO CORRUPT OVER THERE I DOUBT WE WILL EVER GET THE ANSWER, THE TRUE ANSWER THAT IS, REST IN PEACE GIRLS
Very strang. It sounds more like poisoning-unfortunately I don't think we'll ever get the truth. There's a lot of covering up going on.
