A magnitude 4.2 earthquake has struck Christchurch, New Zealand at a depth of 10.4 km (6.5 miles), the quake hit at 06:47:28 UTC Sunday 3rd June 2012
The epicenter was 17 km (10 miles) East of Christchurch, New Zealand
No Tsunami Warning Issued - No Reports of Damage or Injuries at this time
