The 43-year-old’s body was discovered by two brothers yesterday morning in the Bullbrook area of Bracknell.
It is feared the victim may have been returning from an evening out in the nearby town centre when she was attacked.
Gardener Lee Paul-Ferris, 26, and his brother Glenn, who found the body, and called police, described a horrifying scene with blood spattered over a wide area.
Mr Paul-Ferris said the woman was dressed in evening wear and lying in a foetal position in the underpass.
