Gunmen open fire at Nigeria cattle market, several dead

(Reuters) - Gunmen opened fire on a cattle market in remote northeast Nigeria overnight, killing and wounding many, witnesses and police said.

It was not clear who was behind the attack on Wednesday night in the town of Potiskum, in Yobe state, which has been an occasional target for militant Islamist sect Boko Haram. Source
