David Coleman Jr dies after suddenly collapsing when he is tackled during charity game

A semi-professional football player was killed while playing in a charity game on Saturday.

David Coleman Jr, 32, was blind sided and fatally hit in the game at Springfield High School in Indiana.

The death comes as a debate rages on about the safety of football players and the looming effects of multiple concussions.

'No one expected this,' said Anthony Mathis, the quarterback of the opposing team, the Northwest Ohio Knights.

'This is just a fluke, and this is like a one-in-a-million chance, and unfortunately that chance happened today,' he told ABC 13. Read More
