Chantelle Serginson fights for life after 80ft fall from Magaluf hotel balcony

Pretty Chantell Serginson is the fourth Brit to fall from a balcony on holiday in six weeks

A British holidaymaker was fighting for her life last night after plunging 80ft from a Majorca hotel balcony.

Chantelle Serginson, 24, fell from the sixth floor while allegedly having a row with her mum, police sources said.

She suffered multiple skull fractures in the latest in a series of hotel falls involving British tourists on the island.

Chantelle was staying at the three-star Hotel Marina Barracuda in party resort Magaluf with mum Kimberley and younger sister.

“Witnesses have told us Chantelle was rowing with her mum in the room,” said a Civil Guard source. “She then went out onto the balcony and climbed up on the railing.

“We believe she lost her balance and fell, landing on the first floor balcony. We don’t believe she threw herself off intentionally. It was a tragic accident.”

One local report said a suitcase full of clothes was hurled off the balcony during the row. Read More
