Dairy Plant Gas Explosion in Norway, 1 Confirmed Dead 3 Injured

An explosion at a dairy plant in Norway has left several people dead, a news agency in the is reporting.

The blast happened in Fredrikstad, in the southeast of the country.

Rescue service spokesman Ola Vaage told the NTB news agency that several people are feared to have died or been seriously injured in the blast.

Rescue workers, ambulances and a helicopter have been dispatched to the scene. It was not immediately clear what caused the explosion.
