Mystery illness sweeps through Oklahoma school

MADILL, Okla. - A Marshall County school remains closed Thursday after an illness swept through the school.

Classes were canceled at Madill Elementary School Wednesday after about 30 people became sick.

The school superintendent says students and staff complained of nausea, dizziness and fatigue.
Those who were ill were treated by paramedics and some were transported to a local hospital.

The Madill Fire Department says they've checked the school for signs of a possible gas leak and Carbon Monoxide poisoning but found nothing.

Classes are canceled again Thursday to allow time for state health officials to investigate and the school to be disinfected for possible viruses. Source
