China: Home alone boy, 4, clings on to bars of window after falling from sixth floor until firemen desperately battle to save him

Falling from a sixth floor window is usually not described as lucky, but a little boy in China was actually very fortunate because he landed on a cage outside the window below.

The four-year-old had to be rescued by firefighters while he clung on to the window bars in Guangyun, Sichuan Province, China.

The youngster decided to go exploring after he was left home alone by his grandmother when she went out to run an errand.

When she was gone, he climbed out of the window of the sixth floor apartment.

He then slipped and fell, but luckily landed on the window grid of the apartment below.

He was left clinging onto the bars while terrified witnesses called the emergency services.

Two people were seen at the window holding on to his clothing, to make sure he didn't slip and fall five floors below. Read More
