Aakash Dalal the 'Mastermind' of synagogue firebombings 'also plotted attack on ELEMENTARY school'

A teenage college student who is accused of being the mastermind behind two firebomb attacks on New Jersey synagogues also had blueprints and an 'attack plan' of an elementary school.

Prosecutors say Aakash Dalal, 19, of Lodi, New Jersey, egged on and helped to plan attacks on the Congregation Beth El in Rutherford on January 11 and Congregation K’Hal Adath Jeshurun in Paramus January 3.

However, when police raided Dalal's apartment, they also found a layout for John F. Kennedy Memorial Elementary School, 100 miles downstate in West Berlin. On the plans for the school were written the words: 'Project Anarchy,' authorities say.

The blueprints were also covered with writing that 'can only be described as an attack plan,' assistant district attorney Martin Delaney said in court, the Bergen County Record reported.

It's unclear what Dalal's connection with the elementary school is or what, exactly, he had in store for the school. Read More
