7 Marines Feared Dead After Helicopter Collision, Southeast California

Seven US Marines are feared dead after two helicopters collided during a night training exercise in southeast California.

They were reportedly flying over mountains when their Cobra and Huey helicopters collided in midair, apparently killing everyone on board.

An investigation has been launched to find out what caused the accident.

The marines were from the 3rd Marine Airwing based at Miramar, California.
They have not yet been identified.
