MARSHALL, Okla. -- A drilling rig explosion in far northwest Logan County left four people hurt Friday night, fire officials said.
The incident happened in Marshall, Guthrie's fire chief told Eyewitness News 5.
Four people were taken to a local hospital, the chief told KOCO.
There was no word on their conditions as of Saturday.
The fire was still burning at 2 a.m., and crews were worried about it spreading into a grass fire at first, but they said they got it contained.
The oil company that operates the rig turned down the American Red Cross and other help and said they would handle it themselves. There is no word yet as to who owns the rig. Source
