A man has appeared in court accused of crashing a petrol tanker into a bungalow in Dorset.Hugh Billington, 51, appeared before Weymouth magistrates charged with arson with intent to endanger life.
He is also charged with arson - reckless as to whether life was endangered, assault by beating, dangerous driving and theft.
Mr Billington was arrested on Friday after a tanker crashed into the house in Wool, starting a fire.
Giving his address as "no fixed abode", Mr Billington, a lorry driver, made no application for bail and was remanded in custody to appear at Dorchester Crown Court on 31 January. Source
