Earthquake Peru Number of Injured rises to 98

The Number of injured has risen to 98 following the 6.3 Magnitude Earthquake according to the Director of the National Institute of Civil Defense, César Chonate.

Speaking to RPP Noticias, He said that the Injured are being treated at Hospitals, Health Centers and Clinics in Ica.

Except for One patient, the injuries are minor caused more by quick evacuation rather than the earthquake itself.

Regarding Damage caused by the earthquake, there has as yet not been a chance to gain accurate reports as many of the rural areas have not been inspected, these areas have the highest concentration of substandard housing.
