A magnitude 4.8 earthquake has struck off the East Coast of Honshu, Japan at a depth of 33.4 km (20.8 miles), the quake hit at 22:15:54 UTC Friday 9th December 2011.The epicenter was 219 km (136 miles) Southeast of Mito, Honshu, Japan
