Oklahoma, Georgia, Tennessee, Eastern Tennessee, Arkansas, Utah in the last two days...who's next?
And what exactly is causing this? Major shifts in the American Craton or the New Madrid Fault line (especially having a newly discovered cavity near Marianna, Arkansas)? Or even activity or explosions within the US's secret underground bunker system? What ever this trend is, it's absolutely not oil fracking, but it's definitely something major.
They're trying to trigger the New Madrid fault line.
Have earthquakes ever happened in Dalton before? A quick Google search confirms that they have and some been more powerful in the past.
USGS have this to say on the area:
"It is one of the most active earthquake areas in the Southeast."
Try to remain objective.
As for the comment 'they're trying to trigger the New Madrid fault line'. I think that is ridiculous. You're more than entitled to that opinion but it's an area that has seen c.8.0M quakes in the past without being 'triggered' by man. Is it not possible that it will happen again and again anyway??
Fault lines and zones are unpredicatable by their very nature. They happen. Sometimes completely out of the blue.
Are we now living in a time where natural events don't occur anymore? Everytime a quake, hurricance, flood happens these days, it becomes part of a conspiracy. These things have always happened. They may be happening more and as unpleasant as it is to think that human life is being threatened by the planet that gives us life, natural disasters will continue to take life every day.
