6.5 Magnitude Earthquake MEXICO, REVILLA GIGEDO ISLANDS REGION - 1st Nov 2011

A magnitude 6.5 earthquake has struck the Revilla Gigedo Islands Region, Mexico at a depth of 5 km ( 3.1 miles), the quake hit at 12:32:02 UTC Tuesday 1st November 2011.
The epicenter was 227 km ( 141 miles) Northeast of Socorro, Mexico
No Tsunami Warning Issued - No Reports of Injuries or Damage at this time

Note: Unless USGS is receiving some very special information today or not all the data has come through yet, this earthquake should of been listed no bigger than a 5.6 Magnitude according to the data currently in.

Update: Data from 195 Stations have come in so far, still looks like a 5.6 Magnitude maybe a 5.7 at a push not sure how USGS magicked the 6.5 as not 1 station has measured this quake at a 6.5 Magnitude

Update: After 1 hour and 43 minutes USGS decided to downgrade the earthquake to a 6.3 Magnitude (1 out of 195 stations measured a 6.3 so they are getting warmer) Not a 5.6 Magnitude but give them a few more hours I am sure they will get there.
