A magnitude 4.9 earthquake has struck near the East Coast of Honshu, Japan at a depth of 54.2 km ( 33.7 miles), the quake hit at 14:56:35 UTC Friday 4th November 2011.The epicenter was 81 km ( 50 miles) SSE of Mito, Honshu, Japan
