A magnitude 6.7 earthquake has struck the Eastern New Guinea Region, Papua New Guinea at a depth of 45.4 km (28.2 miles), the quake hit at 03:35:17 UTC Friday 14th October 2011.The epicenter was 104 km ( 65 miles) East of Lae, New Guinea, Papua New Guinea
