A magnitude 4.1 earthquake has struck the Gulf of California at a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles), the quake hit at 06:35:20 UTC Friday 7th October 2011.The epicenter was 70 km ( 43 miles) WSW of Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico
