Kansas City International Airport partially Closed as bomb squad are called into investigate a suspicious item - 11th Sept 2011

Part of Kansas City International Airport was shut down today as police investigated the discovery of a suspicious item found during the screening of carry-on baggage.

Federal agents in Missouri are questioning a man after the device was found by the x-ray machine at a Southwest Airlines gate, prompting an evacuation of the area.
