UPDATE, Sept 29, 2011 - 1:00pm EST. No significant quake activity has occurred, and there are no indicating signs any will occur in the immediate days. While this is indeed a good thing, since it spared many lives and loss of property, we remain mystified as to the coincidental nature of the last three alignments. Why was this alignment any different? Further investigation will be required. UPDATE, Sept 27, 2011 - 10:00pm EST: No significant earthquake activity has yet occurred. World seismic monitors are quiet, aside from the odd bout of small activity scattered across the globe, which is normal. The alert is has now been downgraded as we enter into the latter potions of and ultimately leave the projected window for the event over the next three days.

UPDATE, Sept 26, 2011 - 1:30pm EST: An object, apparently descending from the sky according to witnesses, has struck down in Argentina, killing one woman and injuring at least 6 others in an explosion. We will continue monitoring the situation as it develops. View our post on the story here.

UPDATE, Sept 24, 2011 - 4:00pm EST: Every single world seismic monitor has gone quiet. Icelandic monitors have also gone quiet.

UPDATE, Sept 23, 2011 - 1:10pm EST: Iceland has experienced 200 quakes over the last 10 hours, all in the same area where two volcanoes reside. 80% of those quakes have occurred within the last 2 hours. We will continue monitoring the area.

UPDATE, Sept 23, 2011 - 1:00am EST: A 6.4 magnitude quake has struck Tonga a few hours ago. World monitors are moderately active.

UPDATE, Sept 21, 2011 - Midnight EST: All monitors calm. A 5.5 magnitude quake has struck Turkey 20 minutes ago.

UPDATE, Sept 18, 2011 -- 11:40am EST: A large 6.9 earthquake has struck India, and according to eyewitness reports, lasted "more than several minutes" and whose effects were felt across various areas of India and into Nepal and Bhutan. Deaths, casualties and damage have been reported, but with no verifiable data as of yet, perhaps due to communications from the area having been cut off. World seismic monitors have gone from being calm to once again being highly active.

UPDATE, Sept 16, 2011 -- 6:30pm EST: Within the last few hours, the coast of Japan has been struck by numerous quakes measuring 5.x and 6.x in size. World seismic monitors are once again showing massive activity.

UPDATE, Sept 16, 2011 -- 3:35pm EST: World quake monitors have at last calmed down after yesterday's convulsion. Further updates will be provided only if activity increases again, or if alarming characteristics reveal themselves.

UPDATE, Sept 16, 2011 -- 5:40am EST: Minor quakes appearing across world, although this tends to be normal. However, world monitors continue to show a tremendous amount of activity that has not lessened since the last update; one can only speculate whether or not all worldwide earthquakes are indeed being reported through "official" sources.

UPDATE, Sept 15, 2011 -- 6:30pm EST: Live world seismic monitors are freaking out. Every monitor in every country is showing tremendous activity, as if the entire planet is rumbling. We are keeping a close watch on the situation. As of 11:15pm EST, the Seismic monitors continue to be showing tremendous and increasing amounts of activity worldwide.

UPDATE, Sept 15, 2011 -- 4:00pm EST: Triple 6.x quakes and a 7.3 in Fiji has prompted us at The Coming Crisis to observe world seismic monitors, which have shown the Earth ringing like a bell all day. We will keep you updated. Stay safe. Stay elevated.

To all our concerned readers, we apologize for not being immediately forthcoming about the alert and its information. This was done due to the immediacy of the alert and the necessity to make individuals promptly aware of a pending event that may end up being quite severe, while we gathered information on said event. Due to the fact that this event may transpire in just 2 weeks, we felt it was of the utmost importance to get the alert out as soon as possible.

To address some additional concerns of our readers: 1) We definitely do not release these alerts to increase traffic. In fact, they do little if anything to increase overall traffic since (unfortunately) it tends to be existing readers that visit the alerts. 2) It’s not our mission to scare or disturb anyone with these alerts. As Lynsey mentioned in the comments, we feel it is our duty to get you all the information that we get, including any and all possible conclusions that we arrive at. Yes, we are often wrong, and we’re very glad that we’re wrong, since it means that all of you remain safe and unaffected. If we’re right, God forbid, then at least we’ve been able to get the information out to you so that you can make your own decision as to whether or not you wish to heed our alert. We’re not right all of the time, but we’ve been right at least once, and that’s enough for us to continue posting these alerts in the hope of keep you all safe, sound and informed. It might seem that we just run a website, but we truly care about the wellbeing of all of you.

Now, onto the alert itself. Due to the amount of information it contains, we’ll be writing it in the form of an editorial so that you can have all the facts that we have. If you have anything to add to this information, please email us when your thoughts and links so that we can review and incorporation those materials into the editorial.

Here we go:

There is an uncanny coincidence unfolding with the Comet Elenin, of which many if not most of you are aware. Each time that Elenin, the Earth and the Sun “align”, that is, form an axis in space when viewing the solar system from the top down, a major, hugely damaging Earthquake takes place.

The dates of the previous and future alignments are as follows (which we've personally confirmed using NASA JPL's Elenin Orbital Simulator):

February 27, 2010 - 8.8 magnitude quake, Chile

September 4, 2010 - 7.1 magnitude quake, New Zealand (Christchurch/Canterbury)

March 11, 2011 - 9.0 magnitude quake, Japan (of the coast of Honshu) Note: This quake was several days early before the alignment, leading us to suspect that NASA's projected path for Elenin is too fast.

September 24-27, 2011 - 6.9 magnitude quake, Sikkim, India (the quake itself occurred on the 18th) Note: If NASA's projections are indeed incorrect, then a 4th quake event would have happened a week or so before the date, just like what happened with the 3rd quake event in Japan. This provides further evidence that NASA's projections may be incorrect, or too fast. Should their be a 5th quake event approximately 9-10 days before the next projected alignment, then we'll know for sure.

However, it’s not only when the planets align with Elenin that earthquakes have happened; we saw an increase in larger earthquakes during the time that Elenin passed closest to the Sun between the period of the 2nd of September and the 9th of September. During this time there were a total of 5 significant Earthquakes ranging from 6.7 Magnitude to 7.0 Magnitude.

We have seen a dramatic increase in earthquakes since 2010. Is it just a coincidence that all this has started happening now, and that records on all scores have been broken during 2011? These records include but are not limited to: worst floods, rains, earthquakes, snowstorms (snow in places that have never had snow), storms, tornadoes, hurricanes and heatwaves. Is it also a coincidence that FEMA together with USGS released the ARKstorm Scenario at the start of this year? Are we overreaching with our analysis, or could there be some meat to this exploration? When do multiple and verifiable connections cease being coincidence and begin to sound an alarm?

(For those interested, the “ARkStorm Scenario,” prepared by the U.S. Geological Survey and released at the ARkStorm Summit in Sacramento on Jan. 13-14, combines prehistoric geologic flood history in California with modern flood mapping and climate-change projections to produce a hypothetical, but plausible, scenario aimed at preparing the emergency response community for this type of hazard. Over 100 Scientist worked on this paper.)

It would be ignorant of us to assume that a dramatic, unseen change in the solar system would only affect earthquakes, unless it is just one huge coincidence. However, if it isn’t, the magnetic pull would not only affect Earth's plates, they would affect our oceans as well, which would in turn affect our weather systems, and so on.

Could this explain the record breaking events around the world this year? What about the mass fish kills? Surely you will still remember the millions of fish that died as they swam into a California Harbor. The cause was finally decided to be a shark chasing the fish. Is such an excuse any more absurd that the information being brought to light regarding Elenin’s possible impact on our planet?

Keep in mind that what is transpiring isn't limited to North America, and the cases are by no means isolated. There have been similar reports coming in from all over the world: we are seeing shark attacks in places that have never had such attacks, mass fish kills because schools are going were they shouldn't, and don’t forget the mass bird kills earlier this year. It was stated that the birds mostly died from blunt force trauma; in other words, they could have also lost direction and smacked into something. The USGS has stated that this is normal. We disagree. We have personally checked back though the archives for the past 10 years on animal mass deaths and yes, there have been many cases, but all cases excluding maybe a hand full have a logical reason, and none say "Blunt Force Trauma" (unless it is a case of maybe a hand-full of birds). We all know animals have a built-in navigator, so what is causing this instrument to fail within these animals?

Ultimately, this is supposed to be about an alert, so below will be the details you’re seeking in the regular form you’ve come to expect. Perhaps Comet Elenin will be nothing more than just a comet as many have said, and perhaps it has already broken up and disappeared, a possibility that has been suggested. Maybe this is just all a massive coincidence after all, which would be the best possible outcome of this alert. We truly hope so, for we never want to see a repeat of what happened in Christchurch and Japan ever again.

ALERT AREA AND DURATION:

Planet Earth, until September 30, 2011, midnight EST.

EVENT:

A comet, known as Comet Elenin, has become a strange and coincidental marker for massive Earthquakes throughout Earth. Whenever it is aligned with the Earth and Sun, a massive and devastating quake has occurred with great loss of property and life. Since these alignments have a 100% accuracy of quake prediction, we felt it was at the very least necessary to make this known so that people could make their own decisions based upon this alert’s information.

EMERGENCY INSTRUCTIONS:

1) In the final days of September, from the 20th to the 30th, it is recommended that you stay clear of beaches, low lying coastal areas and out of tall buildings. We are not recommending that you panic or live your life in any manner other than how you usually do, but are asking you just to take that small extra step of caution to enhance your safety.

2) Keep close to a TV or radio should emergency instructions be issued by your governmental authority. Keep your eyes and ears open for a tsunami alert.

3) Should an tsunami alert be issued, head immediately for higher ground. Do not pack. Do not wait. Do not ponder over whether it’s necessary to evacuate; just move.

4) Do not return to your homes immediately if there is a quake without a tsunami. Sometimes the tsunami is delayed by up to an hour in some areas. Wait at least several hours, or better yet, until the go-ahead is given, before returning home.
