A magnitude 4.9 earthquake has struck South of the Kermadec Islands at a depth of 37.5 km (23.3 miles), the quake hit at 01:08:55 UTC Monday 29th August 2011.
The epicenter was 243 km ( 150 miles) Southeast of L'Esperance Rock, Kermadec Islands
No Tsunami Warning Issued - No reports of Damage or Injuries at this time
