A magnitude 4.2 earthquake has struck the Kodiak Island Region, Alaska at a depth of 22.1 km ( 13.7 miles), the quake hit at 16:00:48 UTC Monday 8th August 2011.
The epicenter was 76 km (47 miles) Northeast of Ouzinkie, Alaska
No Tsunami Warning Issued - No damage or injuries reported at this time
