A California TV reporter became part of the news after she was shot with a BB gun pellet during a live weather report.KABC-TV’s Leanne Suter was reporting from Fontana at about 6 p.m., when she and her cameraman were fired at by two subjects.
Ms Suter, who was struck in the hand, was taken to a nearby hospital, but was not seriously injured in the shooting.
Lt. Mark Weissman of the Fontana Police Department told the Press Enterprise Ms suter was 'a little shook up' by the attack.
Officers reportedly found at least two pellets near a news van that was also shot at.
KABC reported that a San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department helicopter was able to locate a house that was possibly involved in the incident.
Police officers entered that house, and discovered several BB guns inside.
Two boys, aged 16 and 17, were arrested on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon. Read More
