Junior Bradshaw, 30, and Kevin Liverpool, 33 Charged Over the Plot to Rob and Harm Joss Stone - 15th June 2011

Two men have been charged over an alleged plot targeting singer Joss Stone.

Junior Bradshaw, 30, and Kevin Liverpool, 33, both from Manchester, are accused of conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.

It comes two days after police arrested two men in the town of Cullompton, close to the singer's family home in Devon.

The 24-year-old chart-topper, who apparently has a £9m fortune, said she was "absolutely fine" and she was "getting on with life as normal".

The star, whose hits include Super Duper Love and Fell In Love With A Boy, said: "I'd like to thank everyone for their concern.

"But I'm absolutely fine and getting on with life as normal while the police continue with their inquiries."

One of the singer's neighbours, Florence Webber, said the rural area was usually quiet.

"You never think anything like this is going to happen in a place like this," she said.

"We didn't know it had happened until this morning. It is a quiet area. I don't know that she (Stone) is there that often."

Both suspects are due to appear at Exeter Magistrates' Court in the morning.

Stone, a friend of Prince William and Kate Middleton and a guest at their wedding, is not believed to have been home at the time.

Earlier Sky News filmed a white sports car leaving the house with a person covered by a blanket in the front passenger seat. It is not clear if it was the singer.

Stone, who has sold more than 10 million albums, is due to go on a European tour in a few weeks. Source
